CMMC Rule published in the Federal Register

A full 4 years after the initial cohort of “Provisional Assessors (PAs), and Provisional Instructors” were trained on the DoD’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model (CMMC) and assessment method, the CMMC rule has now been officially published with implementation set for 2025.

This means that starting in later 2025, contracts may start requiring CMMC certification at the time of award which will need an official 3rd party CMMC assessment and certification at CMMC Level 2.

SQC was in the very first cohort of trained and certified CMMC Assessors (CCA), and we now have a strategic agreement with a fully authorized C3PAO to officially start accepting 3rd party assessments and related work.
